What do a shoe, a spoon and a porcelain insulator have in common? These three things and many other objects are remains of the Flossenbürg concentration camp. They were either found during excavations or given to the concentration camp memorial by relatives. Today, the objects tell us a lot about everyday life in the Flossenbürg concentration camp.
The participants study the objects themselves in more detail as well as additional materials such as drawings by former prisoners and excerpts from interviews with survivors. Afterwards, the group uses the objects to create a tour in which the living conditions in the concentration camp become clear.
Program schedule: Workshop (2 hours), break (45 minutes), tour (1:30 hours)
