Flossenbürg Concentration Camp and Stone Quarry

A one-hour guided tour to the former concentration camp quarry completes the tour of the "Flossenbürg concentration camp." The quarry is not only one of the most impressive historical relics of the camp, it also suggests, as a central place of forced labor, the conditions under which the prisoners had to work on a daily basis. The 15-minute walk from the concentration camp memorial to the quarry also provides a rough idea of the expansion of the concentration camp. The visit of the quarry is weather dependent.
