80th Anniversary of Dietrich Bonhoeffer's assassination

Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer was murdered in the Flossenbürg concentration camp on April 9, 1945.

From April 3 to 10, 2025, numerous events of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria will take place at the Flossenbürg concentration camp memorial to mark the 80th anniversary of the murder, including a youth meeting and a TV service (in German language).

Together with the Evangelische Akademie Tutzing, the International Bonhoeffer Society and the Association for Protestant Adult Education in Bavaria, we will be hosting the international conference "Who owns Bonhoeffer?" on April 7-8.
